How Does the Egg Freezing Process Work at NOW-fertility?

- Initial Consultation – We’ll begin with a consultation where you’ll speak directly with a fertility consultant and specialist nurse to assess your needs and explain the process. Face to face appointments are available either in person in Dubai or securely online via Zoom.
- Monitoring – Our team will monitor your ovarian response to the hormonal stimulation with regular ultrasound scans and occasionally blood tests to ensure the optimal timing for egg collection. The monitoring part of the treatment cycle can be carried out close to home so there is no need to travel to Dubai until it is time for your egg collection. However, for those who prefer to have the entire process, including the monitoring of the ovarian response, done at our Dubai’s clinic this will be absolutely fine.
- Egg Collection & Freezing – Mature eggs are collected under sedation and ultrasound guidance by our expert physician at our clinic, and then vitrified (flash frozen) in the laboratory for long-term storage.
Throughout the process, you’ll be guided by the dedicated NOW-fertility care team to make every step as smooth and comfortable as possible. The same team will be present throughout the journey from consultation to discharge.
Do I Need to Be in Dubai for the Whole Process?
While the final part of the process – the egg collection – must be done in person in the clinic, you can begin your journey remotely with virtual or in person consultations and treatment planning. Most patients need to be in Dubai for a short stay only of 2-3 days, unless they choose to extend their stay to further experience the culture and attractions that Dubai offers.
