Sylvie, 52, from Switzerland, married
Sylvie and her husband enquired about embryo donation and our team recommended treatment in Poland, at one of the clinics within our network, as Sylvie is over 50.
We advised her to first have a procedure to remove her fibroids – the cause of the failure of her previous IVF cycles – to optimise her chances of success.
Following a successful procedure, Sylvie purchased her medications locally in preparation for beginning her treatment cycle under our care.
The cycle began with all monitoring carried out at home in Switzerland.
The couple then travelled to Poland where embryo transfer using a donated embryo took place at the clinic there.
Two weeks later, Sylvie had a positive pregnancy test and currently has a healthy ongoing pregnancy.

Can Acupuncture Really Boost IVF Success Rates?

A major meta-analysis published in the Archives of Gynecology and Obstetrics* confirms what we experience first-hand: acupuncture can significantly increase IVF success rates.
The study reviewed 25 high-quality trials involving 4,757 people and found that acupuncture can improve live birth rates by 33.8%.
