Once you have booked your consultation, one of our Fertility Care Coordinators will send confirmation of your appointment via email, which will contain a link for your virtual consultation. You will need to click on the link a few minutes prior to your appointment and one of our experienced fertility professionals will join you. At this appointment you may meet more than one member of the team. 

NOW-fertility supports the main website browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, and you can access virtual consultations using a laptop, tablet, or mobile phone from the comfort of your own home or wherever you are. The link can also be shared with your partner if they are at a different location, or with a family member or a friend if you wish to have someone else in attendance.

If you are undergoing treatment as a couple, we recommend that both partners attend the virtual consultations to enable our fertility professionals to ask you both questions regarding your fertility and medical history, and to recommend any additional tests and then to plan your fertility treatment. This will also help you both to make informed choices about your fertility journey, the available options according to your underlying medical condition(s), your needs, or your preferences. Being together at the time of the consultation helps avoid any unnecessary delays, gives you both the opportunity to ask questions and provides the best chance of a successful outcome.

Our highly experienced Fertility Consultants will recommend the next step of your fertility journey based on your individual needs and conditions, offering clear, evidence-based, independent, and personalised management. 

For patients wishing to proceed to fertility treatment with NOW-fertility, we fully manage your treatment cycle from the first appointment until the date of your pregnancy test in collaboration with one of our worldwide partner clinics, which we have selected based on their quality, safety record, success rate, available technologies, and expertise. 

Our team of Fertility Care Coordinators and Fertility Nurses will be working to support you in preparation of starting your fertility treatment cycle and thereafter be always available, together with our Fertility Consultants, to advise you on the progress of the cycle and any changes required to your treatment plan to maximise your chances of success. 

As part of NOW-fertility’s commitment to making the IVF journey as stress-free as possible, we have partnered with The Doctors Laboratory in the UK to offer our patients easy access to a pathology service which is quality assured, reliable and accurate with competitive pricing.

Results are sent promptly and securely directly to the NOW-fertility nursing team to ensure a seamless start to your treatment with us.

We also offer self-collection kits for a wide range of diagnostic and screening tests, allowing samples to be collected at home and returned to the accredited laboratory for testing.

For patients unable to visit TDL we can recommend where the tests can be done without any delays, before or during the treatment cycle. We encourage patients to provide copies of test results and past medical records if they have had treatment before or alternatively if just embarking on the fertility journey to have the results of preliminary investigations: 

• For the female partner: blood tests, undertaken within the first 4 days of the menstrual cycle if having regular periods, for AMH, FSH, LH, Oestradiol, TSH and FT4, and a transvaginal ultrasound scan of the pelvis 
• For the male partner: a semen analysis 

Further diagnostic tests and investigations may be needed before starting treatment.

We can also refer you to one of our Fertility Consultants or partner clinics for any fertility, urology, and gynaecology investigations, including HyCoSy, Saline Infusion Sonography or Hysteroscopy. All test results are discussed with you during a virtual follow up consultation which allows you to make informed choices about your fertility treatment every step of the way.

There is no waiting time to start fertility treatment with NOW-fertility at any of the affiliated partner clinics.

This means no stress and no unnecessary delays. Once you have completed your consultation, have had the relevant tests and signed all the consent forms, your treatment can start straightaway. You are empowered to take control of your own treatment cycle.

As part of our objective to offer personalised care and unparalleled patient experience, NOW-fertility offers an online pharmacy service providing affordable, convenient and easy access to fertility medications and supplements with prompt and discreet delivery worldwide to your chosen address.

We will provide you with a list of facilities which we call ‘Satellite Clinics’ as they are not the main Centres where your treatment will take place. The Satellite Clinics are located near your home or work, and you can book in for the ultrasound scans, as well as any blood tests you may require to monitor the response to the hormone medications, throughout your treatment cycle. 

Depending on your personal or work circumstances you can choose different Satellite Clinics during the journey so long as you will always get the ultrasound scan report before leaving the facility and have given your email address to send through the results of any blood tests. If you live or work near the partner clinic where your treatment will take place, we will organise all the tests there. We will cover fully the costs of the ultrasound scans and the blood tests. NOW-fertility wants to ensure that your treatment cycle is as stress-free as possible, so we help you have the tests somewhere convenient and without the need to spend additional time travelling. 

The cost varies according to the type of treatment you require and the country where treatment will take place. Once you have had your consultation and we have made a recommendation for your treatment, we will provide you with an individualised cost plan which will include both the NOW-fertility and the partner clinic fees. The costs of medications and those of the screening tests are not included.

The NOW-fertility fees per cycle include: 

• All the consultations (once you have agreed to proceed with the recommended treatment plan)
• Advice regarding the partner clinic 
• Multilingual 24/7 clinical advice and coordination of the cycle 
• Multilingual 24/7 administrative support throughout the cycle 
• Liaison and tailored guidance with the partner clinic 
• All ultrasound scans and hormone tests required during the ovarian stimulation for fresh cycles or endometrial preparation for frozen cycles, or egg donation cycles 
• Use of the NOW-fertility cloud-based secure platform for ‘always on’ communication 
• Access to a Fertility Nurse and/or Fertility Consultant at any time 
• Access to educational written and video material 
• Access to book appointments and review recordings of consultations 
• Access to all medical and laboratory records at the click of a button 

The partner clinic fees per cycle include: 

• Egg collection under sedation 
• Laboratory procedures to fertilise the harvested eggs by IVF (in-vitro fertilisation) or by ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) 
• Culture of embryos to blastocyst (if appropriate) 
• Embryo transfer 

The following are all excluded and will be charged by the partner clinic separately, if agreed:

• Sedation for embryo transfer
• Freezing and storage of eggs, sperm, or embryos 
• Donor eggs, donor sperm, or donor embryos
• Transport of eggs, sperm, or embryos
• Surgical sperm retrieval
• Pre-implantation genetic testing
• Embryo-glue, endometrial scratch, and assisted hatching
