Experienced fertility nurse Anna Balchan has joined the NOW-fertility team, supporting patients undergoing assisted conception treatment cycles. Anna will be part of a global multidisciplinary team embracing technology solutions and innovative measures to offer an unparalleled experience for patients.
Anna will be the linchpin between NOW-fertility patients and the clinical team. She will conduct virtual consultations with patients, support patients undergoing their fertility journey and liaise with partner clinics to ensure that patient care is seamless, including reviewing treatment plans with the doctor.
Anna has a Master’s degree in Midwifery, and has worked in hospitals in Poland and the UK, providing care to mothers during their antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods. In 2018, Anna became a Senior Fertility Midwife, and joined an egg donation programme. Anna was the coordinator for both donor and recipient cycles, and became the lead Midwife for all surrogacy cases, in addition to working with a London-based sperm bank.
“My experience provides me with a vast amount of knowledge to support and care for patients during the entirety of their fertility journey”, Anna says. “My passion for fertility care has only been strengthened over the last eight years and I am excited to be joining the NOW-Fertility team.”
“Anna’s enthusiasm and experience ensures she is the ideal addition to our team”, says Professor Luciano Nardo, founder of NOW-fertility. “Patients undergoing fertility treatment may feel concerned about their conception journey, and Anna will provide superlative care to any prospective patients.”
NOW-fertility is a new digital platform set to deliver innovative care globally using a next-generation platform to offer a considerably faster and more personalised fertility journey for patients and a more efficient model for IVF clinics.
