Fertility Counselling allows you to explore and manage thoughts, feelings and beliefs surrounding fertility. It offers individuals and couples the opportunity to talk with an experienced and qualified professional in confidence before, during and after the treatment.
Types of fertility counselling
Implications counselling – Recommended in cases where sperm, egg or embryo donation, surrogacy or posthumous conception is involved. It is required for all patients undergoing any of these treatments via NOW-fertility. Implications counselling helps explore social issues, ethical and/or legal implications as well as discuss feelings and potential concerns.
Support counselling – Recommended for patients doubting their treatment options, if there are relationship issues, in cases of failed treatment cycle, miscarriages or when additional emotional support is needed. It is offered to all patients undergoing fertility treatments via NOW-fertility. Support counselling helps understand and manage the short- and long-term emotional consequences of fertility treatment and may help see things with more clarity.

At NOW-fertility we understand that the difficulty in achieving a pregnancy and the IVF process can be daunting as well as emotionally and physically exhausting. We believe in a holistic approach, aiming to create a general feeling of wellbeing and maximise the chances of success through the fertility journey.
Our fertility counsellors are available to help you gain a better understanding of the potential implications of treatment and offer you independent advice and support for your decisions. NOW-fertility counselling programme
NOW-fertility offers one support counselling per treatment cycle and one implications counselling per patient with no charge. If you wish to continue with the support counselling you will be able to organise the sessions directly with our counsellors who will charge a fee per session.
