Our team of experienced care coordinators are the first point of contact for our patients and continue to guide and support them throughout their entire journey with us. Empathetic, knowledgeable and multilingual, they provide an essential link between patients, the wider NOW-fertility team and our partner clinics.
For patients with general enquiries about the IVF or fertility preservation process with NOW-fertility, a dedicated care coordinator for each patient will schedule a complimentary virtual appointment alongside one of our fertility nurses to answer any questions and explain how treatment works with us.
Once patients are ready to proceed to a virtual consultation with one of our fertility consultants, the care coordinator arranges this, and any subsequent consultations, at a convenient time to suit the patient. All of our consultations are done virtually saving time and cost in travelling to face-to-face appointments. Based on each patient’s individual needs and preferences, the consultant will advise which of our partner clinics would be the best option for their treatment, enabling them to make an informed choice. Their personal care coordinator then liaises with their chosen clinic, provides full details of costs in an individualised cost plan, arranges any screening tests that are necessary and ensures that all the relevant documentation is completed accurately. If counselling or genetic counselling is recommended they will also arrange this. Patients may opt to have the monitoring for their treatment cycle close to where they live or work and again their care coordinator will arrange this for them via our network of satellite clinics.
As our patients progress through their treatment, their care coordinator is always available, alongside their consultant and fertility nurse, to answer any questions or concerns, to ensure that they feel fully supported throughout.
